Guide to
Cataract Care

Making cataract care feel less intimidating for the patients who need it most.

A comprehensive print guide created for Price Vision Group, a private practice in Indiana. Designed for patients 60 and older, the guide walks readers through what cataracts are, available treatment plans, and lens options — translating clinical decisions into language that empowers patients to feel confident going into care.

The brief.

Patients 60 and older facing a cataract diagnosis are often handed materials that read more like instruction manuals than reassurance. Price Vision Group needed a guide that respected their patients' experience — clear enough for someone navigating a health decision for the first time, detailed enough to be genuinely useful.

The guide covers three core areas: a plain-language overview of cataracts, a breakdown of treatment plans, and a comparison of lens options. The goal was to give patients something they could take home, read at their own pace, and return to with questions.
